On July 21, 1920, he was united in marriage with Olga Jensen and to this union, two sons were born who have both preceded their father in death, one in infancy, and Johnnie, Jr., in 1938 at the age of nine years.
He was baptized in infancy and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Mr. Peterson was a hard worker and a good farmer, making a success of his occupation.
