Peter Dambrink Claimed By Death
Member Of Well Known FamilyPeter F. Dambrink, 51, who lived in Le Mars in his youthful days, a son of the late H. L. Dambrink, a well-known citizen of Le Mars for many years, died Friday night in a Sioux City hospital after an illness of one day. His death was unexpected and came as a shock to his mother, Mrs. H. L. Dambrink, of this city, who is in feeble health.
Relatives in Le Mars were notified of his condition Friday afternoon and were with him when the end came.
Peter Frederick Dambrink was born in Le Mars May 25, 1890, grew up and was educated in Le Mars, attending the public schools. Going to Sioux City when a young man he engaged in various occupations and of late years was an automobile painter. He was married in 1911 in Le Mars to Emma Briegel, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Joynes, of Sioux City and two granddaughters, his mother; Mrs. H. L. Dambrink, and two brothers, Douw Dambrink and Henry Dambrink, of Le Mars and two sisters, Mrs. Jake Berkenpas of Seney, and Mrs. Charles E. Trafford, of Le Mars.
The funeral services were held Monday in Sioux City and the remains brought to Le Mars for burial beside those of his father.
