Young Farmer Stricken With Brief Illness
Emil Krause, Victim of Lockjaw, Dies in Hospital Friday Night
Hand Cut in Machine Was Life Long- Resident of Lincoln TownshipEmil Krause, 32, a well known farmer residing near Hinton, died Friday night at the Sacred Heart hospital of lockjaw.
Mr. Krause suffered an injury to his hand about two weeks ago while working on a manure spreader and an infection developed.
Mr. Krause was a lifelong resident of the vicinity and was born October 26, 1905, in Lincoln township, and attended the community school and engaged in farming. He has married eight years ago last August to Miss Zena Arendt, who with a son, Dale, survives. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold P. Krause, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Lang, of Lincoln township.
Mr. Krause was well-known n in the community where he spent his life and was esteemed by a large circle of neighbors.
Funeral Held Monday
The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran church in Lincoln township. Rev. J. A. Torgler conducting the service, and interment was made in the Lincoln cemetery.
