Donald Wohlenberg

YANKTON—Donald F. 74, Yankton, died Friday, Feb. 26, 1993, in Sioux Valley Hospital.

Mr. Wohlenberg was born Oc. 21, 1918, in Harrisburg where he grew up and graduated from high school. He graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1942. He married Mary Frances Siedschlag on Dec. 24, 1948, in Benton Harbor, Mich. He was a practicing certified public accountant in South Dakota for 41 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Kiwanis, Resurgam Lodge #31 in Mitchell, the Consistery, Lewis and Clark Shrine Club of Yankton, El Riad Shrine Tempe of Sioux Falls, South Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants and A.I.C.P.A. He was a 50-year member Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, and served in the Board of Directors of the Shrine to Music. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the South Dakota CPA Society in 1990.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters: Andrea Jo Wohienberg and Mary Grace Hardy, both of Yankton; and Nancy Kathryn LaBuff, Missoula, Mont.; and two grandsons.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Ray Funeral Chapel, Yankton, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Akron, Iowa. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral chapel.
