Funeral. services for Mrs. Pauline Jauer will be held Saturday April 25 at Grace Lutheran church in LeMars. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran cemetery, Lincoln township with Mauer funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Pauline Muecke was born on May 10, 1859, in Schweusen, Germany. She came to the United States in 1870, making her home in Plymouth county where she spent the remainder of her life. In 1883 she was United in marriage with Joseph Jauer in Sioux City. Deceased was 93 years of age. She passed away on Wednesday, April 22 at the Methodist hospital in Sioux City as a result of old age infirmities.

Survivors include one son, Albert of Hinton, seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1922, one son Emil in 1946, five brothers and one sister. Mrs. Jauer was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Lincoln township.
