Note: Her first name is Magdalen, the last name is actually spelled Dreckman, and her mother's maiden name is Ruba.

Mrs. Joseph Dreckmann Buried Thursday, Death Followed Long Illness

Services for Mrs. Joseph Dreckmann, 51, were held Thursday morning at St. Joseph Catholic church in Le Mars with the Rt. Rev. J. D. Fisch conducting the services. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Wiltgen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dreckman died Monday afternoon at her home southeast of town following an illness of four months. Her entire life had been spent on farms in the vicinity of Le Mars.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holzman, Mrs. Dreckmann was born Feb. 12, 1898. On Sept, 20, 1920 she was married in Le Mars to Mr. Dreckmann, and they made their home on a farm northeast of the town for the following 15 years, before moving to their present farm.

Surviving include the widower; a son, Cletus of near Le Mars; three daughters, Loretta, Doris and Marilyn, all at home; a brother, Frank of Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Leo Dreckmann of Le Mars and Mrs. Barbara Deters of Salem, S .D., and one grandchild.
