Martin H. Ideker
Funeral services for Martin H. Ideker, 52, rural Merrill, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Anderson funeral home, Sioux City. Rev. Arnold Imbrock, St. John Lutheran church pastor of LeMars will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery in Sioux City.
Mr. Ideker died Saturday morning at the home of a sister, Mrs. Vera Indorf, route 1, Sioux City, after a brief illness. Casper post 477, American Legion, Hinton, will conduct military graveside rites.
Mr. Ideker was born May 16, 1916, in LeMars, and had lived and farmed in the Merrill vicinity most of his life. He married Doris Pilgrim June 25,1949, at Norfolk, Neb. He was an Army veteran of world war 2 and was a member of St. John Lutheran church at LeMars.
Survivors arc his wife; three sons, William, Thomas and John; and two daughters, Mary and Anita, all at home; a brother, Roy of Merrill; three sisters, Mrs. Indorf of route 1, Sioux City, Mrs. George E. (Edna) Lau of Hinton, and Mrs. Armand (Mildred) Lang of Merrill
