Note: Her maiden name could be spelled Christiansen or Christianson. Her mother's maiden name is Hein.
Mrs. Wyatt Heyl, aged 20 years, died of appendicitis at her home one mile east of Akron, on Monday, June 11, 1906. Deceased had been ailing for some time, but not until about a week prior to the end was the seriousness of her condition known.
An operation was performed, but the malady was in such an advanced stage that it was at once apparent that there was no chance for her recovery.
Her maiden name was Laura Christianson and she was a daughter of David Christianson, west of town.
She was quite well known in town, having been employed for a time in Vargassn’s restaurant. Only last December she married Mr. Heyl and they have made a happy home on the W. C. Anderson farm east of town. Mrs. Heyl was beloved by all who knew her, and to the sorrowing young husband, her father and other relatives is extended the sympathy of the friends in their bereavement. Her mother died about a year ago.
Funeral services in the Akron Christian Church yesterday were largely attended, words of condolence being spoken by Mr. Huntley, temporary pastor of the church. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
