Albert Adden

Albert Dietrick Adden, 37, 3rd Avenue Southwest of Le Mars passed away at his home on August 20, 1961. His death was very sudden and unexpected. He was 65 years of age.

Mr. Adden was born August 25, 1895, in Elgin Township near Struble. He was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County living in Le Mars since 1925. He was a retired tractor repairman. He was never married. His parents were the late Albert F. Adden and Johanna Frierchs Adden.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 23 at 2 p.m. at the Mauer Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Le Mars city cemetery. Rev. L. L. Belk will officiate.

Survivors include a brother, Harry A. Adden of Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Beck and Mrs. Anna Kilker both of Le Mars and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dick Adden, in 1960. Mr. Adden was a member of the American Legion and a veteran of World War 1.
