Neil Alan Davis, 21, Tampa, Fla., a Le Mars native, died Saturday (Feb. 6, 1982) in a traffic accident at Tampa.
He had lived there a short time after leaving military service. He was employed by Gillette Wrecking and Towing.
Funeral services were Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Kingsley. Rev. Gordon Watson officiated and burial was in the Kingsley Cemetery under the direction of the Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley.
Pallbearers were Robert Kaisch , Terry Pierce, Geoffrey Price, Joel Hochwender, Don Dorn, and Steve Moser. Mrs. Gordon Watson was organist.
Neil was born March 17, 1960, in Le Mars to Donald and Arlene Ahrens Davis. He was educated in Kingsley schools and graduated in 1978 when he entered military service. His marriage to Sandra Tissen took place May 7, 1980, at Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Survivors are his wife and two sons; Gregory and Timothy in Tampa, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Davis of Kingsley; a sister Mrs. Randy (Carolyn Rodman, Sioux City; a brother Kenneth, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Davis of Moville.
