DEATH COMES TO MRS. L. REDMOND

Rites Held Wednesday Morning For Former Akron Resident

Mrs. Loretta Redmond, a former well known and esteemed Akron resident, widow of the late Thomas J. Redmond, in business here for many years, passed away Sunday morning, December 9, 1951, in St. Anthony’s Home at Dubuque, Iowa, where she had resided the past few years. She was 84 years of age.

Loretta Dunn was a member of a pioneer Plymouth County family, who lived in Grant Township for many years. She was an aunt of Mrs. A. J. Claeys, Sr., and James A. Agenes, of Akron. Several other nephews and nieces also survive.

After her marriage to Mr. Redmond, they made Akron their home. Her pleasant personality gained her the friendship and respect of all who made her acquaintance.

Funeral services were held in Akron in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Wednesday morning, Rev. Fr. J. G. Skahill officiating. Interment was beside her husband in the Catholic cemetery here.
