INFANT FOLLOWS MOTHER IN DEATH

Last Rites for Meta Augusta Milbrodt Were Held on Monday Afternoon

Meta Augusta Milbrodt, the infant daughter of Herman Milbrodt, northeast of town, passed away Sunday, May 23, 1937, at 1:50 o’clock, at the age of 1 month and 23 days.

Meta Augusta Milbrodt was born in the Akron Hospital, March 30, 1937. She was baptized April 18, 1937.

She is survived by her father, nine brothers and five sisters. Her mother preceded her in death on March 31, 1937.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. Theo. Meyer on Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the family home and at 1:30 in the Preston township Lutheran church, with a large attendance of relatives and friends.

Arlene Milbrodt, Evelyn Kock, Lillian Jelken, and Marian Andresen, four cousins, acted as pallbearers, Interment was in the Preston township cemetery.

Relatives who came from a distance to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Milbrodt and son, Dale, and Mrs. Henry F. Dirks, from Coleridge, Nebraska.
