DEATH COMES TO AKRON WOMAN AND HER DAUGHTER

Rites Held Monday For Mrs. Milton Webster and Melinda Sue

Bringing sadness to relatives and friends were to the deaths of Mrs. Milton Webster and her newborn daughter, Melinda Sue, on Saturday, May 5, in a Sioux City hospital. Mrs. Webster was 36 years of age.

Rose Marie Hoedl was born April 1, 1926, in Kansas City, Mo. After completing high school there, she did secretarial work. She was married to Milton Webster, June, 1950, in Kansas City. They resided in Missouri until 1958, when they came to Akron.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Milton Joseph and Mark Edward, both at home; a daughter, Mary Ann, at home; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Hoedl, of Kansas City; five brothers, Louis, Edward, Richard, Raymond, and Robert, all of Kansas City, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret O’Hare of Kansas City and Mrs. Josephine Zane of Lenexa, Kan.

This community extends sincere sympathy to the husband, children mother, brothers and sisters in their bereavement.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Rev. J. G. Schissel officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Richard Coyle, Clarence Hummel, Grant Gassma, Floyd Davis, Ivan Frahm and Bernard Callahan. Additional services were held at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Kansas City, Tuesday. Burial was in Mt. Olive cemetery there.

A number of relatives came from a distance to attend the funeral services.
