Died. CARROLL – At his home thirteen miles southeast of Le Mars, Sunday, March 24, of consumption. Thomas Carroll, aged about 45 years.

Mr. Carroll had been ill for sometime past and towards the end his disease advanced rapidly and on Sunday he grew much worse passing away in the evening. The funeral services occurred Monday. – The Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, Thursday, March 28, 1895, page 3, column 3
