Carl L. Albert, 55, 1415 Irene St., was dead on arrival Sunday [June 20, 1971] at St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church at LeMars, Iowa. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home of LeMars.

Mr. Albert was born May 4, 1916, at LeMars. He married Lorna “Bobbie” Brown February 14, 1952, at Dakota City. He was a steelworker.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, Harry Cornish and Wayne Albert, both of Sioux City and Richard Cornish of Luton; three daughters, Miss Janet Albert, Mrs. Edgar Rains and Mrs. Melvin Underwood, all of Sioux City; his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Albert of LeMars; a brother, Richard of LeMars; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Kehrberg and Mrs. Farley Peterson, both of LeMars; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
