JOHN SINGER BURIED IN CEMETERY HERE

Funeral services for John Singer, 82, of Des Moines, a former Plymouth county resident, were Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic church in Le Mars.

Rev. Dean Walker officiated. Burial was in Calvary cemetery at Le Mars under the direction of Fisch funeral home of Remsen.

Mr. Singer died Thursday, Jan. 18, at a Des Moines hospital.

He was born Oct. 31, 1885, in Plymouth county and resided in Des Moines the last 42 years.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Allensworth of Des Moines, three sons, Gene of Des Moines, Bruck of Daly City, Calif., and Robert of Pasadena, Calif.; three brothers; three sisters; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
