Brother of Robert Brownlee of Merrill Dies On Tuesday

W. J. Brownlee, 55, formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday in a Hollywood, Cal., hospital after a sickness of nine months.

Born February 4, 1889, at Cushing, Ia, he moved to Sioux City when he was 15. He had made his home there, working for the street department until three years ago, when he moved to California.

Survivors are the widow Hattie; two sons, Lloyd and James; four daughters, Mrs. W. E. ("Blanche") Johnson, Violet Brownlee, all of Los Angeles, and Mrs. W. J. Cottrell of Sioux City; two granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Martin Rosburg, and a brother, Robert Brownlee of Merrill.
