Mrs. Bauler Died Same Day As Brother
Mrs. Anna Bauler, longtime resident of Plymouth county, passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital, following a stroke suffered at her home last Friday. She was 78 years of age, and had lived near Kingsley for 40 years.
Anna Trewieler was born November 2, 1873, at Keokuk, Iowa. She lived in Nebraska before coming to Plymouth county where she resided on a farm until her death. Her husband, Peter, died in 1937.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20 at St. Michael's Catholic church in Kingsley at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Oyens, Iowa cemetery under direction of the Dickinson funeral home in Kingsley.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray Galles of Le Mars, and Mrs. Anna Arkfeld of Sioux City; five sons, George of Philadelphia, Mike and Sergie of Sioux City, Henry of Chicago and Francis of Kingsley.
Several sisters and brothers also survive. Mrs. Bauler was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church in Kingsley and took an active part in church activities. Remains will be at the funeral home until time of services.
As a striking coincidence, a brother of Mrs. Bauler, who had been an invalid for several years, passed away at the very same time of Mrs. Bauler's death. His home was in Dell Rapids, S. D.; Funeral services were held there today.
