Note: She is buried under her first married name of Andresen. Depending on family members obituaries her maiden name varies from Fredricksen or Fredrickson. Her mother's maiden name was Jurgensen.

Mrs. C. Anderton Called By Death Last Thursday
Last Rites Held On Tuesday For Local Resident

Mrs. Charles Anderton, a long-time resident of the Akron and Hawarden vicinities, passed away at the Akron Hospital last Thursday, May 23, following a brief illness.

Margaret Inaburg Fredrickson was born in Dresldorf, Germany, on March 18, 1878, where she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She came to the United States with her parents in 1891.

On November 23, 1898, she was united in marriage with Henry Andresen in Akron. To this union were born four sons, Carl (or Charlie), Andrew, Frank and Fred. Three step-children included in her family are Ben Andresen, Annie Siebels, and Herman Andresen. Her husband, Henry, preceded her in death as did her children Frank, Ben, and Annie.

In September 1941 she was married to Charles Anderton. Mr. Anderton passed away in September of 1949. His children are Milford Anderton, Jeannette Larson, Vernice Lundgren, Clifford Anderton and Mary Ann Johnson.

Mrs. Anderton has been in good health and was able to reside in her home in Hawarden until illness weakened her in the Fall of 1967. She had resided at the Akron Nursing Home from December of 1967 until the time of her death.

Besides the surviving children, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Frank Eden, of Akron, Mrs. Garland Ellis, of Hawarden, Mrs. Simon Pelroy, of Denver, Colo.; six grandchildren of her own and by twenty step-grandchildren and a number of step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon of this week at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron, with Pastor Harris Hostager officiating. Vocal solos were sung by Richard Hillrichs, with Mrs. Richard Hillrichs as accompanist. Casket bearers were Jerry Nelson, Eldon Boyer, Eli Andresen, Wayne Andresen, Norman Heeren and Raymond Andresen. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
