DIED BARKINSKY--In Johnson Towhship Plymouth County, Iowa Thursday, April 26, 1900 Mrs. John Barinsky, aged 60 years, after an illness of about two months.

The deceased was born in Germany in the year 1840, where she resided until fifteen years of age, when her parents came to America.

Her maiden name was Carolina Martzen. She was married to John Barinsky in 1857, at Davenport, Iowa, the family coming to Plymouth county about twenty years ago. Eight children wee born to them, six of whom survive. They are: Wm. F. Barinsky, and Mrs. Fred Gronemeyer, of Preston Township; Mrs. M. H. Jans, of Akron, Rev. Lizzie aLawrence, of Crozen, Iowa and John and Lena Barinsky, who still reside with their father.

The funeral was held at the Preston Township Lutheran Church, of which deceased was a devout member.
