PASHA BAKER DEAD
Was Well Known Resident of This Vicinity for Many YearsFriends in Le Mars received word on Tuesday of the death of F. P. Baker, a well known resident of Akron vicinity for many years.
"Pasha" Baker was a member of the English colony which was founded in the eighties and lived for a while on the Ronaldson farm near Merrill and later bought a farm in South Dakota, across the Sioux river, west of Akron, where he lived for over thirty-five years. Mr. Baker a few years ago built a magnificent house on his farm which attracted visitors from a wide area. It is one of the finest farm homes in a wide stretch of territory.
Mr. Baker was a frequent visitor to Le Mars and Sioux City in former years and had a large circle of friends. He was about 63 years of age and is survived by his wife and one son.
