HENRY RENKEN SUCCUMBS SUDDENLY TO HEART FAILURE

Henry Renken, a resident of Plymouth County for more than thirty years was found dead in his bed at the residence of Paul Utesch where he had been making his home of late. Mr. Renken had been in poor health for some time. death was due to heart failure and other complications.

Henry Renken was a native of Oldenburg, Germany, where he was born 57 years ago last November. When a young man he came to America and made his home in Plymouth County for over thirty years working on farms and taking care of horses. He was employed on the farm of August Utesch for nine years and worked for other members of the Utesch family at different times. He farmed for a brief period in South Dakota and then retured to this county. He was unmarried and had no near relatives in this country.

The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at the Engelken untertaking parlors, Rev. J. J. Vollmar, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church officiating and the interment was made in the city cemetery.
