DEATH COMES TO KERVIN WATERBURY
Union County Boy Dies Monday Following A Brief Illness
A particlarly sad and quite sudden bereavement came to Mr. and Mrs. Fay Waterbury and family, north of town, in the death of their litte son and brother, Kervin, early morning, Dec. 23, 1946. The child had played outdoors the previous day and did not become il until Sunday evening. After midnight his condition became serious and he passed away in spite of all that could be done for his relief. His ailment was said to be pulmonary pneumonia.
Kervin Charles Waterbury, son of Fay and Luceen, was born at Akron, Iowa, April 10, 1940, and attained the age of 6 years, 8 months, and 13 days.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Marlin, 11; Janice, 10; Joan, 8, and Larry Lee, 5; also by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stinehart, of Toppenish, WAsh., and Mr. and Mrs. albert Waterbury, of Akron. This community extends heartfelt sympathy to the relatives in their bereavement.
Funeral servies were held this afternoon (Thursday) in the Akron Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. A. A. Howe, the pastor. Miss Dorothy Behmer sang. "Beautiful Hands" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
