Daisy Dobbert
Mrs. Maynard (Daisy Margaret) Dobbert, 6, 510 Seventh St. SW, died Sunday at the Orange City hospital after an illness of several months She had been hospitalized since Dec. 2.
Mrs. Dobbert was a lifelong resident of Plymouth county living resident of Plymouth county living at Struble and in Le Mars. She was employed by hammer's restaurant.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the mauer funeral chapel with Rev. Ralph Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Le Mars Memorial Cemetery.
The former Daisy Long, she was born June 18, 1904, in Plymouth County, a daughter of the late John F. and Dora Mae Smith Long. She married Maynard A. Dobbert in March 1935 in Plymouth County. Mrs. Dobbert was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1953.
Survivors are four brothers, George of Mission Hill, S. D., Royal E. and Chester, both of struble and Francis of Le Mars; and four sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Hazel) Hani of Yankton, S. D., Mrs. Ray (Carol) Diller of Marshalltown, Mrs. Rose Bolser of Le Mars, an Mrs. Bernard (Myrna) Anderson of Sioux City.
