LAST RITES HELD IN GOLDEN WEST

MRS. ROSE DOBBERT WAS MEMBER OF PIONEER FAMILY IN STANTON TOWNSHIP

Following an illness of several months, Mrs. Rose M. Dobbert, former resident of Stanton township, residing at 490 Columbian Avenue, Pomona, Calif., died at a hospital in Pomona, January 13. Death followed a second operation she had recently undergone. She was the wife of August Dobbert and was born in Plymouth County, November 20, 1873. Mr. and Mrs. Dobbert went to California to make their home about twenty years ago.

The deceased was a member of the Pomona Trintity Methodist Church an wa active in church and community affairs. she leaves to mourn her death her husband, August Dobbert, of Pomona, and her daughter, Mrs. Paul Seiersen, of Santa Ana, Calif., her mother, Mrs. augusta spies, of Le Mars, two brothers, George M. Huebsch, of Pomona, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Philip Hahn, of Wilton Junction, Iowa, and Mrs. Charles Hahn, of Le Mars, and two grandchildren.

One son, Harold Dobbert, died in Le Mars November 13, 1916.

She was married to August Dobbert thirty-nine years ago last December 20, the wedding taking place on the William Dobbert home place in Stanton township.

The funeral was held from the Todd & Reeves Chapel in Pomona Monday, January 16, Dr. John Oliver, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, officiating and the interment made in the family burying plot in the Pomona cemetery.
