Mrs. Ella W. Witt
Mrs. Ella W. Witt, 82, Oakville, Wash., an Akron native, died October 18, 1980, in a Centralia, Wash. nursing home.
Funeral services were held Oct. 21 in the Oakville United Methodist church, with the REv. Cal Sutherlin officiating. Burial was in the Mountain View cemetery, Centralia.
Ella W. Barinsky, was born August 30, 1898, to Mr. and Mrs. William Barninsky in Akron, Iowa. She married Henry Witt at Akron, where they farmed until moving to Aberdeen, Wash., in 1944, moving to Oakville in 1948.
She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary 18 of Oakville, and was a Gold Star mother.
Survivors include six sons, Wesley Witt, Twisp, Wash., Henry Witt, Des Moines, Duane, Kenneth, James and Stanley Witt, all of Oakville; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Cooper, Myrtle Creek, Ore., and Mrs. Roland (JudithK) Plyne, Centralia, Wash.; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. B. J. (Pauline) Borchers of Le Mars, and numerous nieces and nephews.
