Former Akron Man Killed in Car Crash

Akron friends of Arden Reemts have learned of his death Sunday morning, April 15, from injuries recieved in an auto accient at Bell Gardens, Calif., Sunday evening. April 14. He was a passenger in a car which was struck by a car driven through a red light.

Arden Reemts, 31, was a son of Mrs. Anna Reemts of Hunting Park, Calif. and the late John Reemts of Akron. He was born at Akron and graduated from Akron high school.

Surviving are his wife, Alberta, of 3602 E. Florence Pl., Bell Gardens, Calif., four children, michael, Susan, Debbie and Bryon; his mother, Mrs. Anna Reemts, of Huntington Park, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Esther Halweg, of sioux City; uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. John Borchers, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Reemts and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kiewel, of Akron; Mrs. Ida Ross, of Portland, Ore.

Funeral services were held April 19 at Maywood, Calif.
