MRS. ULRICH SUSEMIHL OF SIOUX CITY DEAD; BURIAL AT MERRILL
Mrs. Ulrich Susemihl, 78, Sioux City, formerly of LeMars, died Friday night (Oct 21, 1966) at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Calvary Lutheran church, Sioux City. Rev. E. G. Meske officiated. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery at rural Merrill, under direction, of the Mauer funeral home.
The former Marie Von Hagel, Mrs. Susemihl was born Oct. 28, 1887, in Germany. She came to the United States as an infant in rural Plymouth county. She was married to Mr. Susemihl March 8, 1921, on a farm near Merrill. They farmed near Merrill until their retirement in 1957 when they moved to Sioux City.
She was, a member of Calvary Lutheran church in Sioux City and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran church hear Merrill.
Survivors are the widower; two sons, Walter of Moville and Arnold of rural Merrill; a daughter, 'Mrs. Ted Less, Hinton; a brother, Ben Von Hagel of Merrill; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Kameradt of Spencer; and eight grandchildren.
