MRS. OLLIE KUNKEL CALLED BY DEATH

Mrs. Joseph A. Kunkel, a longtime resident of Westfield vicinity, passed away Sunday morning at her home at the advanced age of 96 years.

Mrs. Kunkel, the former Ollie Elizabeth Trudeau, was born May 2, 1868, in Jefferson, S. D. She was married to August Hauser until his death 35 years ago. She was married to Joseph A. Kunkel Oct. 9, 1938, at Akron.

Survivors include one son, Alfred H. Hauser of Sioux City; one daughter, Mae P. Clark of Pine City, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Rose Butler of Gila Bend, Ariz., 11 grandchildren 28 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Patrick's Cathlic church here, Rev. Fr. J. G. Schissel officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
