J. Wesley Wilson

RAPID CITY—J. Wesley Wilson, 77, of Rapid City passed away Saturday, November 5, 2005, at his residence. Wes was a pastor at Free Methodist churches in Iowa and South Dakota for many years. For 18 years, Wes drove the school bus on Sheridan Lake Road route in Rapid City. He enjoyed making miniature carousels for family and friends and loved woodworking. Wes was always willing to lend a helping hand to people. He is survived by his wife Peggie Wilson of Rapid City and his two sons, Jack Wilson of Rock Island, Ill., and Ken Wilson of McPherson, KS. One brother, Andy Wilson of Winter Haven, Florida, 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Memorial can be made to the Rapid City Free Methodist church. A visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Campbell, Paula & Quinn Funeral Home in Rapid City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at the Rapid City Free Methodist church, with Pastors Joel Morris and Glen Wessel officiating.

On Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, inurnment will be held for Rev. Wesley Wilson and his wife, Peggie (Taylor) Wilson of Rapid City, S.D. Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. at First Plymouth Presbyterian Church Cemetery, rural LeMars.

Sons, Jack (Laurie) Wilson and Ken (Barb) Wilson will provide the committal service.
