Died—At her home in Akron, on Monday, April 24, 1899, Mrs. “Oscar F. Deuell, at the age of 74 years and 23 days, of paralysis.

Deceased was the tenth child and the youngest of five daughters of Jonathan and Susannah Curran Norwood, being born at Oscar F. Deuell on the 17th of January, 1858, and moved to Lincoln, Ill. Two daughters were born to them, one of whom is Mrs. R. R. McCorkell, of Akron. The family came to Akron in 1881, and except for a brief residence at Vermillion, S. D. have since made this their home. Strong in the Christian faith, a loving wife and fond mother, she was dearly beloved by all who knew her.

The funeral services were held at the home yesterday afternoon, Rev. H. G. Campbell preaching the sermon. Interment was made in the Akron cemetery.
