PIONEER SETTLER PASSES AWAY

James Ruble Died Saturday Following Two Months Sickness.

James Ruble long time and well known resident of this city, passed away Saturday following a sickness of two months.

Mr. Ruble was born May 28, 1858, at Milroy, Pennsylvania and had reached the age of 79 years, 4 months and 11 days.

He was united in marriage to Miss Florence Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Ruble were among the older Plymouth county settlers and made their home here for over 20 years. Mrs. Ruble died about two years ago.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock from Maurer’s funeral chapel with Rev. Hubbard officiating. Interment, will be made in the city cemetery.

Deceased is survived by four daughters and one son. They are Mrs. Jon Martin, Mrs. John Love, Belle Flower, Calif. Mrs. David Hor. of Karienen, S. D.; Mrs. Charles E. Crews of Chicago, Ill., and Lawrence Cooney, of Belle Flower, California.

Mr. Ruble was well known in large circle of old friends and neighbors who will mourn his passing.
