SERVICES HELD FOR CHRIS LANG

Funeral services for Chris J. Lang, 66, who died Saturday at the LeMars hospital after an illness of several weeks, were held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. David Oswald officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lang was born July 22, 1898, in Stanton township, and was a life long resident of this county. He married Clara Krause on September 6, 1922, in Lincoln township, where they farmed until 1959 when they retired and moved to LeMars.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Elroy Heimgartner of Hinton; two sons, Cecil of Hinton and Maynard of Manson, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Fred Pashan and a brother, Walter, both of LeMars; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were: Clarence and Albert Kowalke, Eldon Lang, Clyde Wetrosky, Duane Dybdahl and Dale Krause.
