Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Methodist church for Mrs. Clara Ivers, who died Thursday morning at the Methodist hospital at Sioux City. Mrs. Ivers was taken to the hospital three weeks ago in hopes that her life might be saved, but she grew rapidly worse and passed away Thursday morning about five o’clock.Mrs. Clara Alberts was born in Ohio, December 7, 1880. She had lived in Kingsley and vicinity for many years. She is survived by an aged mother, her husband Julius Ivers, and seven children, three boys and four girls, and three brothers. Her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Harvey and son Clarence Ivers live at Pierre, S.D., and another daughter, Mrs. Edna Henderson, also lives in South Dakota. The rest of the children are at home.
Mrs. Ivers was a faithful and loving mother and will be sadly missed by her many friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. V. Hulse, pastor of the Methodist church, interment being in the Kingsley cemetery.
The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of bereavement.
