HERMAN LUKSAN
Herman F. Luksan, 84, LeMars, Plymouth County native and lifelong resident, died Thursday, (April 28, 1988) at LeMars Floyd Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran church, rural Hinton, with Rev. Jerry Hahn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral home.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
He was born July 19, 1903, in Lincoln township to Frank and Laura Lang Luksan. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, and was a retired farmer.
Mr. Luksan is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ed (Amanda) Roepke, Kingsley, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Fritz and Lawrence, and a sister, Irene Baker.
