Dick Frerichs

Dick Frerichs, 84, Le Mars, died Jan. 1, 1981, at Winston-Salem, N.C. He and his wife, Anna, lived the last two years with a daughter in Winston-Salem.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p. m. at Voglers chapel Clemmons, N. C. Rev. Luther Wolf will officiate. Arrangements for graveside rites in Le Mars are pending at the Luken Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.

Mr. Frerichs was born May 30, 1896, in Le Mars to George T. and Lena Wilms Frerichs. He was a retired farmer. His marriage to Anna Dirks took, place Feb. 16, 1919, in Grant township; near Le Mars.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (La Vonne) Johnsen, Winston-Salem; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. A. K. (Sophie) Rasmussen, Madison, S.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, George, in 1975.
