Steven D. Frerichs

Steven D. Frerichs, 39, of rural Le Mars died Sunday, March 13, 1994, at his home after a long illness.

Services were held Tuesday, March 15 at Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township, rural Le Mars with the Rev. Jack Hebard officiating. Burial was in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, under direction of Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mr. Frerichs was born Sept. 21, 1954, in Le Mars, the son of George and Norma (Renken) Frerichs. A lifelong Plymouth County resident, he graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1972. He married Deborah Russell July 26, 1975, at the Ellendale Church, rural Merrill. He was a full time employee at Harkers Dist. Inc. and farmed in Grant Township. Mr. Frerichs was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Cory and two daughters, Amy and Nichole, all at home; a brother, Bruce Frerichs and his wife, Joyce of Le Mars; a sister, Sandra Downing and her husband, Doug of Le Mars; eight Nephews; and 11 nieces.
