OBITUARY OF W. E. CHAMBERS

Mention was made in these columns last week of the death of W. E. Chambers on Friday, January 22, 1932, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Chambers, at Corvallis, Oregon, where he had been since last July. He had been a sufferer from Bright's disease for a number of years, but was about his work until November. Since that time he had endured great suffering.

Will Edward Chambers was born near Akron, Iowa, February 2, 1891, and attained the age of 40 years, 11 months, and 20 days. He grew to manhood here, his parents being among the early settlers of Akron vicinity. He was a good worker and will be missed by a host of friends, who extend sympathy to the bereaved family. He is survived by his parents; four children, Clarence, Mildred, Fay, and Lavina; five sisters, Mrs. Mae Burke of Akron, Ia.; Iva and Henrietta Chambers, of Corvallis, Ore.; and four brothers, Herbert D., Walter A., and George, of Salem, Ore., and Gilbert H., of Condon, Ore.; and other relatives. A son, Johnnie, passed away in 1914.

Funeral services were held in the Keeney funeral home in Corvallis, and interment was in Mt. Union cemetery there.
