Lillian Mae WALKER

Lillian Mae WALKER, 77, of Apache Junction, Ariz. and formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, June 19, 1989, in a Mesa, Ariz. hospital after a short illness.

Graveside services were held Saturday, June 24, in Liberty township cemetery, Hinton. Christy Morningside Funeral home was in charge of local arrangements.

Ms. WALKER was born Jan. 7, 1912, in Hinton, the daughter of David and Sarah ( BERGER ) MARCH. She was raised there, then moved to Sioux City around 1940. She lived here until moving to Apache Junction in 1984. She was a graduate of Hinton High School and was the shoe clerk at Davidson's Department store, which later became Younkers department store. She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, David and Colleen WALKER of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert ( Helen ) DRIVER of Apache Junction and Mrs. Donald ( Jeanette ) ST. PIERRE of Houma, LA., and eight grandchildren and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, David (Bustler) March, and one sister, Rebecca Bodnar.
