David MARCH Is Called By Death

Funeral servies for David E. MARCH, 62, of Sioux City, who passed away Friday night in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness, was held at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at the W. Harry Christy chapel. Rev. H. M. BURNS, pastor of Whitfield Methodist church, officiated and burial was made in the Liberty township cemetery.

Mr. March was born Januarary 18, 1884, at Hinton where he spent 30 years of his life. He served several years here as a rural mail carrier. He married Sarah BERGER on March 2, 1910, at Hinton. The couple later moved to White River, S. D. where Mr. MARCH was in the trucking business. They moved to Sioux City seven years ago, where he was employed by the Farmers Supply Co. at the time of his death.

Survivors include his widow; a son, David Jr.; two daughters, Miss Rebecca and Mrs. Lilliam Mae WALKER, all of Sioux City; two brothers, Frank and Ray, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Alice CROUCH of Sioux City; and five grand children. [Oct 1946]
