Marie Albright

Mrs. Marie Albright, 88, of Le Mars, Plymouth county native and lifelong resident, died Wednesday (March 9, 1988) at Floyd Valley hospital after an illness of six weeks. She entered the hospital a day before her death.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran church, rural Le mars. Rev. Jack Hebard officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.

The former Marie Frerichs was born Aug. 27, 1899, in Grant township, rural Le Mars to John and Mary Pageler Frerichs. She married Louis Albright May 1, 1920, in Grant township. He died in 1960. She was a member of Christ Lutheran church.

Survivors include a son, Wesley Albright of Le Mars; two granddaughters, Patricia Kay and Rhonda Sue; a sister Tena Marienau of Le mars; a halfbrother Walter Dirks of Akron, and two step-sister, Minnie Dowling and Marie Hunter of Oklahoma, and many neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Johnson Frerichs; a half-sister, Johannah Renken; a stepsister and five step-brothers.
