Carl E. Anderson died of heart trouble March 30 at the home of his brother, Ernest, in Hawarden. He was 25 years of age and had made a home with his brothers, B. W. Anderson, near Big Springs, and Ernest, since coming to this country from Sweden in 1903.

Carl E. Anderson Passes Away After Brief Illness
Carl Edvin Anderson died suddenly last Saturday morning at the home of his brother, Ernest Anderson, from heart failure. He was taken ill Friday afternoon and went to the house and medical aid was summoned. He improved slightly and was up a short time before his death. He returned to bed and passed away shortly after midnight.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist church, Rev. John Erb preaching the funeral sermon. There was a large attendance at the funeral and the floral offerings were very beautiful.
The deceased was born in Oscarson, Sweden, June 9, 1887. He came to America in the spring of 1903. He has since made his home with his brothers, B.W. Anderson, near Big Springs, and Ernest Anderson, in this city.
He leaves a father, mother and two sisters in Sweden and five brothers in America.
