Carl LeRoy Anderson

Carl LeRoy Anderson, 65, Akron, was found dead Monday,--Dec. 13, 1976 in his apartment in Akron.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Schroeder funeral home, Akron. Pastor Arthur DeNeui, pastor of the. Hawarden Baptist ehurfh officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Akron.

Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 6, 1911 at Akron, Iowa to W.C. and Mary Erickson Anderson. He was a veteran of World War II, serving four years. He worked as a machinist for Albertson's, Sioux City, and Swift packing house, and was employed as a. carpenter in Akron.

He is survived by two brothers, Claude Anderson and H.P. Anderson of Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Stevens of Sioux City, Mrs. Ruth Sawyer of Hawarden, and Mrs. Arta Akers of Chicago, Ill., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Sperling.
