Leonard K. McCorkell
Leonard K. McCorkell, 72, of Lodi, Calif., died Thursday (October 17, 1985) in a Lodi hospital following a long illness.

Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Gierhart and Wells funeral home in Lodi. The Rev. Paul R. Donavan and Rev. Don Chorley of the First Congregational church officiated. Private interment was held in Cherokee Memorial Park cemetery.

Mr. McCorkell was born in Akron, Iowa and moved to Lodi, Calif., in 1966. He was a pioneer in the Aero Space program with McDonald Douglas Aircraft and retired in May of 1975. He was a member of the First Congregational church and the newly formed Men's club of the church.

Survivors include his wife, Joy [Morehead] McCorkell of Lodi; two daughters, Janet Poteet and Judy McCarty, both of Lodi; one son, Michael of Lodi; three sisters, Irene Munger, Newcastle, Calif., and Neva Hoffman and Ethel Hoffman, both of Loomis, Calif.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
