Funeral for Sylvia Lillian Thompson, 81, Grand Junction, Colo., was held April 6 at Callagan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel, Grand Junction. Rev. Kermit Brubaker of the First Baptist Church officiated with burial in the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson died April 3,1985, at St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center after a long illness.

The former Sylvia Lillian Beyer, she was born April 11,1903, at Kingsley. She spent her childhood years and attended schools at Kingsley and Sioux City. She had been a resident of Grand Junction since 1944. Her marriage to Lloyd Tommy Thompson took place Dec. 25,1940, at Wichita, Kan. Mr. Thompson died in 1972.

Survivors include three sister,. Edna Kuhnhenn of Kingsley, and Gladys Kriege and Lois Beyer both of Minneapolis, Minn., and two nieces.
