Walter Berger

Funeral services for Walter Berger, 60, a mechanic at Hinton for many years who died Saturday at a hospital in Le Mars were at 2 p.m. Monday at First Methodist church at Hinton. Rev. S. G. Hawhee officiated and burial was in Hillside cemetery at Merrill under direction of the Mauer funeral home of Le Mars.

Mr. Berger Was born March 21, 1899 in Plymouth county and resided in the Hinton vicinity all his life. He married Florence Greenwood February 25, 1920 at Sioux City.

Survivors are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Martfeld of Le Mars two sisters, Mrs. Surah March of Sioux City and Mrs. Lillian Brown of Hinton; two brothers, William of Marcus and George of Sioux City, and one grandson.
