GEORGE E. MANZ

George Edwin Manz, 73, died Tuesday at Hastings, Neb., after a sickness of one week.

Mr. Manz was born June 25, 1885, near Merrill, Ia. He was a retired farmed and lived his entire life in Plymouth County. He married Edith Hauser December 20, 1904, near Merrill.

Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Randolph Peters, Hastings, Neb., and Mrs. Charles Ezes, Merrill; a sister, Mrs. William Lemke, LeMars; a brother, Andrew, San Gabriel, Cal.; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Methodist church Merrill. Rev. D. L. Harbour will officate. Burial will be in Hill-Side Cemetery, Merrill, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
