GEORGE KLEIHAUER WAS LONGTIME AKRON FARMER

George T. Kleihauer, 68, Akron farmer, died Monday , at his home after a long illness.

Mr. Kleihauer was born Aug. 18, 1892, at Morrison; Ill., and lived in the Akron vicinity most Of his life. He was a veteran of world war 1 and a member of Trinity Lutheran church.

Survivors are the widow; three sons, Harold of Elk Point, S. D., Delmer of Akron and Kenneth of Paulina; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Meske and Mrs. Paul Meske of Akron, and a brother Henry of Akron.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity church, Akron. Rev. Luther Myer will officiate and burial will be in Riverside cemetery with the Rossow funeral home in charge. Hourschler post. American Legion, will conduct graveside rites.

Had Fanned In The Akron Vicinity For Many Years

George Theodore Kleihnuer, son of Henry T. and Bertha Eden Kleihauer was born in Morrison, Illinois, on August 18, 1892. He was baptized in infancy, and confirmed April 4, 1900 by Pastor Fred A. Meske, Sr., in Trinity Lutheran church. He was a member of Trinity at the time of his death.

On July 22, HUS, he entered the military service of World War I. He received his basic training at Atlanta, Georgia, and served overseas in France. He was honorably discharged on June 8, 1019.

He was united in marriage with Norma Steinert on February 6, 1924 by Rev. Meske in Trinity church. The couple lived and farmed in Plymouth county all their married life on one place 35 years.

He is survived by his wife Norma, and three sons: Delmar, at home; Harold, of Elk Point, S. D,; Kenneth, , one brother, Henry, and two sisters: Mrs. Alfred of Paullina, Iowa; four grandchildren (Anna) Moske, and Mrs. Paul (Grace) Meske; many relatives and friends.

He passed away at his home December 19, at 12:20 a. m., after a long illness. He attained the age of 68 years, 4 months, and 2 days. His body will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.

Funeral services were held December 21 at Trinity Lutheran church, Rev. Luther Meyer officiating.

Pallbearers were World War I veterans—Otto Larson, Herman Andresen, H. P. Wilier, John Von Hugel, Fred Marbnau and Arvel Lake. Military graveside rites were conducted by Hoschler Post, 186, American Legion.
