Mrs. Harry Ahrens
Mrs. Harry Ahrens, 51, Sioux City, died Sunday (April 14, 1985) in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic church. The Rev. Paul Kelly officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of the Berkemier funeral home.
Mrs. Ahrens, the former Elaine Mae Twitchell, was born May 12, 1933, in Union county, S.D. She married Harry Ahrens March 1, 1954, at Vermillion. They lived at Elk Point until 1963 when they moved to Sioux City.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church and the Altar Society of the church.
Survivors include her husband; one son, David of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Sandy) Kvidera of Sioux City and Mrs. Bob (Deborah) Jeffery.of Correctionville, la.; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Limoges and Mrs. Frances Peterson, both of Elk Point; five brothers, Bud, J. R., Lanny and Jerry, all of Los Angeles and Arnold of Las Vegas, Nev. and three grandchildren.
She was the sister-in-law of Irene Gabel and Mary Huettmann of Akron.
