HERBERT AHRENS DIES IN CAB OF TRUCK ON FARM NEAR KINGSLEY
Funeral services for Herbert Francis Ahrens, who died unexpectedly in the cab of his truck Monday morning on a farm west of Kingsley, will be held at 1:30 p.m. (CST) Thursday at the First Lutheran church of Kingsley. Rev. Walter Resper will officiate. Burial will be in the Kingsley cemetery.
Mr. Ahrens was born Aug. 25, 1908, at Kingsley. He married Laura King on May 4, 1933, at Elk Point, and spent the rest of his life in Kingsley. he was in the trucking business and a member of First Lutheran church.
He is survived by the widow: one son, George M. of Kingsley: a dughterr, Mrs. Donald Davis of Kingsley: three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Bahmer of Sioux City.
Dickison-Michaelson Funeral home in Kingsley has charge of arrangements.
